"A DEFINING MOMENT"
My brother in the Lord, Pastor Patrick Kaveny, has an IMPORTANT MESSAGE to share with all of us in America. I beg you, please do not click away from this page until you’ve read every word. This message ("The Cry") is that important. It’s from God. You see, Pastor Pat is a modern day prophet of the Lord.
Yes, I understand some readers may be skeptical about anyone being called a prophet of the Lord today, because there are so many who fraudulently claim such a position with God. Or, like me, you may have also heard someone say all the true prophets died during Bible times. When I met Pastor Pat, I also had a healthy skepticism. But Pastor Pat would share things he had heard from God that would happen in the future—big things like a hurricane, which only God could possibly know—and I would see them actually happen just as he said. After witnessing this for a few years I know without a doubt that Pastor Pat hears from God.
Consider, also, how I first met Pastor Pat in May, 2001 . . .
Many months earlier a mutual friend had suggested I look up Pastor Pat. However, I made no effort at that time. Then, one evening in May, I sensed from the Spirit of the Lord that I was supposed to set out the next morning to find Pastor Pat. I didn’t have his phone number or email, but I knew the approximate location of his church building in a distressed community just east of St. Louis. It was about thirty minutes from my home in St. Louis, Missouri.
Before driving across the Mississippi River to look for him that morning, I stopped by the headquarters of an international prayer ministry to drop off a book I had borrowed. When I walked in, there was another visitor standing in the foyer. He smiled and said "hello," then proceeded to sign the guest register. As he stepped away I moved up to sign the register and noticed the name above mine was Pastor Pat’s. With a smile on my face, I quickly explained to him that I had set out that morning to find him. We both could see God’s hand in this meeting and we thanked the Lord. Both of us sensed God was up to something.
That first morning at the prayer ministry, Pastor Pat handed me a word from the Lord which he had brought to share with the prayer group. The bold heading read: May 14, 2001. I’ll never forget the date because May 14 is my birthday (More importantly, May 14 is also the anniversary of Israel becoming a nation in 1948.) Yes, God made certain He now had my full attention! Little did I know at the time, this was the beginning of a journey with God which would be just as remarkable as those I've read about in the Bible. And that day in May, God was beginning to knit Pastor Pat’s and my life together for the very message he is bringing from God to America today. (Note: The May 14 word from the Lord turned out to be a prophetic blueprint for what was to come in our nation. Pastor Pat and I have been checkmarking each paragraph as events now unfold in the years since God first gave it.)
We became friends immediately and I started leading a Bible study at his church a few months later.
In September of 2001, Pastor Pat received a word from the Lord three days before 9/11. While having lunch with his wife, Pastor Pat was given a vision where he was standing on Ellis Island. God described to him the evil which was to come upon our nation. Pastor Pat heard Him say "My protection has been lifted." God also showed him what it would take for our nation of people to deal with what was coming. Pastor Pat shared the message with his church the next day, Sunday, just before the 9/11 tragedy. He told them to get ready for a BIG war. That same Sunday night, with tears in his eyes, he shared God’s message with me after the Bible study. We prayed for God's mercy that night. None of us will ever forget God’s urgent message to America delivered precisely before tragedy struck our nation. Alas, there was much more to the vision than just the 9/11 event itself.
Three years later, on February 22, 2004, I was with him in Mobile when he was bringing to several pastors a message from the Lord for their area. His discussion concerned "restorative judgment." In that meeting he told the pastors to prepare their people for a hurricane which was going to come into Mobile after six months. He said the hurricane would stretch from Pensacola to Biloxi and be a massive storm. Six months, 24 days later, Hurricane Ivan, a dangerous Category 4 storm, entered Mobile Bay. The hurricane caused damage as far away as Pensacola and Biloxi. Significantly it made landfall on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, which is defined as "Day of Judgment." Some in Mobile, who originally heard the prophecy, later emailed him with the admission, "You really are a prophet from God."
With that very brief intro, here’s what I am leading up to . . .
I believe God is using Pastor Pat as an obedient messenger to bring all of us in America a very, very serious and urgent message which is on our Father’s heart for this nation today. This message is so dear to God’s heart that God has made it clear it was never His intention to give Pastor Pat the message in mere words or single vision so that it could be simply and quickly passed on to us, as happened with all the other messages given to him. No, this "highest priority" message, directly from God, has taken Pastor Pat twenty-two years to receive. God wanted him to actually live it before it was to be given to the nation. Truly, God tested Pastor Pat before He would find him worthy to carry the message to you and me. (You will also learn below that very soon God is going to test each one of us to see if we will respond to His message as Pastor Pat did with his life.)
Today, November 23, 2009, is when the Spirit of the Lord has commanded me to post the first portion of His Message so it can be made known to all people across America. The signficance of doing it on this date has not been explained to me. I simply obey because He is my God.
At this point, you may be asking yourself, "If it took Pastor Pat twenty-two years to receive this message, then how am I to receive it and understand it in a day?" From my experience, such an impartation can only happen by the grace of God. And I’m believing God will make a way for those who are truly willing to receive. I pray that is you and me.
Let each of us first pause for prayer and for preparation of our willing hearts to receive God’s message at this "defining moment."
